Third Annual International Symposium on Digital Ethics

Over here, we're approaching the midpoint of the fall semester.  All this week in both my Communication & New Media (COMM 200) and Game Studies (COMM 258) courses, we've been focusing on various ethical issues facing us in a digital age.

Capping off the week will be our Third Annual International Symposium on Digital Ethics, happening tomorrow at the Loyola University Chicago's Water Tower Campus.

We have an exciting lineup of speakers for the event.
Our keynote speaker is Douglas Rushkoff, technology journalist, theorist, and author of Present Shock.

Featured speakers include:

Mariarosaria Taddeo, University of Warwick
Mia Consalvo, Concordia University
Bernhard Debatin, Ohio University
Robert Cavalier, Carnegie Mellon University
Jim Brady, Editor-in-Chief of Digital First Media
Marty Stock, CEO, Cavalry Agency
Phil Gomes, Senior V.P., Edelman Digital
Jeroen van den Hoven, Delft University of Technology
